Certified Nursing Attendant

Description

Works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and ANC. Performs a variety of duties and tasks in carrying out the activities of daily living and personal hygiene for the patient. Maintains a safe environment. Able to lift over 20 lbs.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits including eight weeks of paid vacation, nine paid holidays, and twelve sick days annually.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:
Prior L.T.C. health experience preferred.
Physical demands: walking/lifting, transferring of patients
N Y S -C N A Certificate required

EDUCATION:
Ability to read, write and speak English
High School Graduate or GED

SPECIFIC SKILLS:
Good interpersonal/organizational skills required/Able to multi-task over a course of a shift
Strong communication skills required.
Good attendance and punctuality required
Good evaluation and references.
